Susie Wotton de Jarrin

I am a Paediatric Nurse and a Health Visitor, with 27 and 20 years’ experience, respectively. My undergraduate training took place at the Oxford University Hospitals, whilst my postgraduate training was in Birmingham and Wolverhampton.

I am a Certified Practitioner for Newborn Behavioural Observations (NBO) System, Brazelton Centre UK.

I am registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). I am also a member of the Royal College of Nursing. My professional development is central to my NMC registration, and I maintain my level of clinical excellence through both mandatory and additional voluntary training with Devon County Council. I also subscribe to the monthly Journal of Health Visiting to continue informing my practice with the most relevant national and international research.

I hold full and comprehensive public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance, provided by Markel, specialists in insurance for medical professionals.

I am also a mother myself, experiencing the joys and challenges of parenting. I have three children, two teenagers at home and my eldest son studies at Bristol University. I have extensive personal and professional experience of children with special educational needs and disabilities.
